2023 Last School Lunch

 

First Inpatient Experience

 It turned out to be a broken nose after all ☹️

So was squeezed in today for nasal fracture reduction at Gosford Hospital.

Arrived at 8am and after the paperwork at Admissions,   he was directed to Bed 33.

Here he was visited by Dr Indu Gunawardena’s team who briefed us on the procedure.

We’ve also found out that he’s 1.73m and weighs 59kg.

He’s allowed 150 ml of fluid every hour of wait.

At 3.45pm he’s told not to drink any more.

Finally told to change into a gown at 4.45pm!!! 

💔 to see them missing his vein but thankfully, 

            successful on 2nd attempt at a different spot!                     All prepped for GA now!

Finally getting the procedure done at 5.50pm and it was over in less than 15 minutes!

After about 30 min in recovery, he was returned to the ward and Daddy took over shortly after he’s had a sandwich. 

He’s finally discharged at 10.15pm and will have the splint as part of his face for the next fortnight!

Nose-butt at Aquapark

 Went to Pathfinders event at Aquapark and came home with a bruised nose and a chipped tooth ☹️

Sonic Stage Boom

Tubular Music & Arts Festival.

 She did this for her HSC.

Mummy’s His Secret Santa

This is the second year we’re doing secret Santa with the relos and Mummy drew his name 😁

 

 

Last Orthodontics Appointment

He has officially finished his orthodontics treatment!

Had his final check today and was sent on his merry way!

 

Surf Camp 🏄‍♂️

At this Pathfinders’ camp, they tented at Grassy Heads and surfed at Stuarts’ Point.

Also a little fishing before heading home.

 

First Singing Lesson 🎤🎶

 He starts his singing lessons with Vanessa Moussa         via Zoom tonight!
