Julian's 7th birthday party

We went to the same Kincumber sports hall 

for yet another classmate's birthday party.

Sunday lunch with friends

He had lunch with Ralph and Alec 

at Kahveh Cafe in Avoca Beach

before heading to Julian's birthday party.

The game started at started at 4.06pm...

...and didn't end till 4.51pm with a tie!

Well, Hugh had some help from Daddy though.

Mario Kart is still the game!

I can't remember how long we've had this game 

but it's definitely an all-time fav!

Having a game with Alec after the swim carnival.

CCAS swim carnival

The CCAS Year 1 and Kindy swim carnival

was held at the Peninsula Leisure Centre in Woy Woy.

That's where Hugh used to do his swim lessons 

before he started school.

There were four races in all and held in the morning.

He came in second last in the board kicking race 

and then first in the noodle race.

Then he came in third in the doggy paddle race and

second last again in the final freestyle race.

Great effort, Hugh!

After the races, we breaked for lunch

which was followed by fun and games in the pool!

This year the Kindergarten kids are in charge of decorating the

We caught a train today...

...saw some chickens and turkeys;

and spent a warm morning by the river.
