Uncle Peter's birthday party

Uncle Peter is back from India for good and we got to

celebrate his 48th birthday with him.

Hugh had a great time playing his Avengers Monopoly 

with his cousins.

Everyone's admiring the Homer Donut cake.

He didn't have the cake but got something better :)

Wet day at Reptile Park

We deliberated all morning but finally

braved the wet weather just in time for a photo with

Tassie joeys Hank and Tank who are only 7 months old.

Then we watched Ranger Mick in action with Elvis, 

the saltwater croc!

Today's been a real treat as we also got to see a baby Koala...

....and got up close and personal with an adult Koala too!

A visit to this park always requires the

 patting of a kangaroo.

Very entertained by Ranger Mick as usual.

New style of scooting

Black Belt Grading

After 2.5 years with the Lil Dragons program,

Hugh has reached this stage where he earns his black belt!

It was a near three-hour long process at which he first demonstrated

his punching and kicking techniques.

And then sparring.

Followed by Kata.

After that he was asked to break a piece of wood for the first time!

Lastly, he had to go through some challenges which included...

40 push-ups

3-minute horse stance

Finally, the reward!

Last day of Term 3

The boys welcomed the spring break with games

on the PS4 and a pizza dinner!

That's the number of accidents he's had in one month!

The first, as we already know, was the gash on the head

in his classroom on his birthday.

Then five days later, we had Isaac over for a play

and he scratched his cheek on his bookshelf.

Finally today, he fell down on the school grounds

during recess while playing "Mini Marathon".

No more please!!!

At Mitchell's 7th birthday Party...

.... there was a magician who made a rabbit appear

We caught the play of his favourite book at 

The Concourse Theatre in Chatswood.

He thoroughly enjoyed it!

their classmates!

However, in the arvo Hugh gave himself a birthday present!

He bent down to pick up his Math sheet and

bumped his head on the table on the way up.

Someone is 7 today!

He received the first three Harry Potter books

from Indri and has already started on the first!
