PJ-Day

Don't ask me why but today the kids go to school
in their PJs!

Needless to say, they were all thrilled!

treated like a VIP

Mummy and Hugh embark on a very memorable trip
to be pampered.

The cabin crew of SQ861 took this photo for us shortly after
we boarded the HKG-SIN flight.

Immediately, he was given a pair of Bose headphones,
a bunch of amenities...

...and Mummy had a glass of Dom PĂ©rignon :)

We were able to dine together in this configuration so Mummy could make sure
he did some eating as he might get lost in the virtual world!

Once we landed at Changi,
we headed to the Private Room in the SilverKris Lounge.

Just like at the UA Lounge,
we were the only ones there.

When it was time to board our flight to Sydney,
the ground staff ordered a buggy to take us to our gate.

We found this card at our seats...

... and received the same royalty treatment.

There was way too much food!

After dinner he waited patiently while LSS Glenny made his bed.

This is what our private little room looks like!

Ahhh.....this is the life :)

One last movie before lights out.

Headed to dreamland about 3 hours into the flight.

Last day of our SIN-HKG-MFM vacation

Both kids were sad.
Cupcake said, "It's end of the world!"

After we said our goodbyes at the hotel,
we set out for the very bare Taipa Ferry Terminal.

The ferry ride was much smoother and we arrived at
Hong Kong International in less than an hour.

The Singapore Airlines lounge was closed for renovation
so we were directed to the United Airlines lounge.

Hugh and I were the only ones there!
(Daddy went to the Qantas lounge)

Day 10 in Macau

We hopped onto the hotel shuttle bus to the "old" Macau.

The bus dropped us off at Sands hotel and from there
we walked to the Science Centre.

It was better than we'd expected.

We also watched "Ancient Skies, Ancient Mysteries"
in the planetarium.

After that we rushed back for the House of Dancing Water show
only to find out it had been cancelled due to technical problems.
Mummy was furious!!!

So we ended up at the pool where the movie Turbo
was being screened and popcorn was served.

Dinner was at a restaurant Uncle Ken's friend brought us to.
They all had abalone sashimi including Daddy!

We got back to the hotel really late and got the housekeeping staff
to set up the sofa bed for Cupcake and I.
I had thought it was a super idea until I realised I missed Mummy :(

Day 9 in Macau

Slept in....again! Had to wake him up for breakfast.

On our way to the Club Lounge for breakfast.

Not very interested in eating as you can see.

However, we're super keen to be in the pool!

After our swim, we talk a walk outside and took some snapshots of the hotel exterior.

Then we went to the Transformers' 30th anniversary exhibition; which was a let down....

....but Hugh still managed a bit of fun.

Bath time after dinner.

Day 8 - HKG/MFM

Slept till checkout time!

Leaving Royal Plaza Hotel......enroute to China Ferry Terminal.

Got our ticket/boarding pass.

Boarding at Gate 2.

On our way to Macau!

After a choppy Turbojet ride, we managed to arrive in Macau
with no serious nausea and checked into the best hotel of this trip!

This is our room at the Sheraton Macau.

Once we received our luggage, we headed downstairs for some kids activity.

Then we had some snack and later dinner at the Club Lounge.

After dinner we went for a stroll... all the way to The Venetian.

Day 7 in Hkg

We had dim sum in a small, crammed restaurant that Daddy found.

Here, Hugh had 2 baked BBQ pork buns and a steamed custard bun!

Then we walked through Fa Yuen market at which he pestered us to buy him a Rubik's cube.

Day 6 in HKG

We took the MTR to Sha Tin.

There's a playground at New Town Plaza...

... in a place called Snoopy's World.

Dinner was at Hing Kee restaurant where you can write your name on the wall.

Here's what Cupcake wrote:

This restaurant is famous for its Garlic crab.
