Visited Godma and her newborn today

and Hugh was very gentle

and simply loved stroking her and hugging her :)

We spent V-Day at the zoo
with Aunty Steff, Uncle Toon, Ashton and Alexis.

He's watched too many youtube videos on train accidents...

We found an activity that Hugh was interested in and

spent almost an hour in this section of NEX Mall.

He was very patient and tried to be as careful as possible

not to make too much of a mess the whole time.

The result was a lovely sand art...

... and a very satisfied Doremon fan!

After a pink sponge cake for breakfast,

he wanted a strawberry cake for lunch!

We visited Alvan's photography exhibition at the Arts House

and he took some pictures of us there.

So we finally made it to the restaurant that Uncle Ronnie works at!

And the boy's trying to prove a point: so comfy you can sleep here!

Mummy ordered the haloumi with mushrooms...so yummy!

Daddy got the scrambled eggs with smoked bacon.

When Hugh finished his brunch, he was promised a scoop of

their homemade chocolate ice-cream :)

dinosaurs live! exhibit

The boy got scared somehow and cried when we went in to see these "dinosaurs"

but after a play at the Water works, some ice-cream and a tornado fire show,

he requested to see the dinosaurs again...

and actually enjoyed it the second time around.

favourite science centre activities

This canon was tough to fire; seems we kept doing it wrong

and almost killed our allies

but that didn't stop the boy from having a good time!

And this Echo Tube is great because he's allowed

to make as much noise as he could without getting into trouble :)

Found this section at the Science Centre where the ceilings are low

but just high enough for the boy :)

We were surprised to see the same Playmobil Police Station

that Uncle Ken gave Hugh!

loves the rides at uss

First ride is a mild boat ride inside the ship

that "transported" the animals in Madagascar.

The second one is a roller coaster ride in Far, far, away

 and made Mummy a little sick :(

Third one is called Dino-soaring!

Fourth is another mild car ride through an ancient Egyptian town.

Can't recall what the name of the fifth and last ride is... (well last type

but he had three go's because he loved it so much!)

It's at the Sci-fi Battlestar Galactica section which spins around.

Spent the day (a very hot day!) at Universal Studios Singapore today!

First we drove through the Safari World... 

... then we parked the car and walked into the attractions.

And Ken was swamped by the kids

who apparently know how to read the map!

Here they're having a discussion of some sorts.

As we entered the park, the kids wanted a photo with every mascot.

While the ladies had lunch, Ken took the kids on a 'swan' ride.

After feeding ourselves, we went to feed the animals.

Ah Ma, Mummy and the 2 kids had a photo taken with a cub.

Before we left, Hugh managed to squeeze in a pony ride :)

bubbles... but not quite what you think

On the first day of Chinese New Year the boy discovered Salmon roe

which he calls Bubbles and is hooked on it!

This one was ordered just for him at Fuji restaurant!

Savouring each roe and enjoying "bursting " them.

ben 10 lollet

He's been asking for a "lollet" (he's having trouble pronouncing wallet)

since he saw Cupcake's pink Barbie one and

Aunty Viv bought him a Ben 10 one today.

It's now his pride and joy as he has photos and money inside.

Ok, so toys are very expensive here but they sure have the range

and most toy departments will have toys set up for little visitors to play for free...

well... until their parents fork out money to buy them.
