Late Thursday night he tells mum he wants to invite some friends over for his “birthday party”
How many? Not sure.
What time? Not sure.
However, Friday morning came and Dad (who’s been ill the past few days) seemed to be feeling worse so mum says let’s cancel it.
Before noon, mum heard from Kasia that Hugh is having a birthday party at the Boffo’s!!! After investigating, it would appear that Anton’s “arvo of boardgames” escalated into a birthday party!
Some back and forth communication with Melissa ended with an agreement it should just be a quiet arvo of boardgames and dinner afterwards for a small group.
