This year's Christmas party is held at our home

And no rain would stop these 3 from ahving a great time!

These Disney characters' performance was the last performance

before the rain poured buckets and forced everyone to run for shelter.

more soup please

This is a popular meal in Singapore and is taken at breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Thanks to Magic Asian Mart which opened less than 2 weeks ago,

Mummy managed to get the ingredients to make

Bak Kut Teh (Hokkien word translated to Pork Ribs Tea)

Hugh is very Asian in the sense that he loves clear soups and this is no exception.

Infact, he loves the soup much more than the meat :)

Hugh stepped on Mummy's freshly painted toe nails and got this mark!

Then he wouldn't stop asking for it to be removed.

"Don't want this brown yucky!"

"Please take it off!"

And so Mummy did; just to shut him up!

2nd train ride at myer

This is already our second Christmas in Australia!

So we're making it a tradition to do the Myer train ride.

Funny things was the lady at the gate asked for a height measure for Hugh.

It didn't matter that I told her he had done this ride last year.

So when he was measured,

Hugh was way above the minimum height requirement!

we went to Darling Harbour and saw this tree.

but we are using decorations from last year.

Currently, everyone's present is under the tree except Rivers'

 

Mummy made this hamper for the Barics.

He's so happy to be able to reach the tap in the toilet at Westfield.

and anyone who knows Hugh would know which colour

he decided to paint the train.

Now that we've selected the colour, let's paint the roof.

While the pink is drying we'll paint the wheels.

We had background music during dinner at the patio

because our neighbours were having a party.

The selection of music was a mix of retro and techno

He won't sleep on anyone's lap, chest or shoulders unless he's really tired.

However, running around the Sydney Aquarium and Darling Harbour,

plus an early morning start, did it this time.

The Central Coast KDO was held at Wyong Racecourse

and Mummy thought the boy might enjoy some

pony rides, face-painting and shows.

He had a few bounces in the bouncing castle...

... watched the Dora The Explorer show...

... and tried to get close enough to Dora to shake her hand

but was really disappointed when Dora missed him :(

We've heard so much about the Central Coast Steam Co-Op

since we've moved to Wyoming but

somehow haven't been able to check it out unitl today!

So our friend was queuing like a good, patient boy.

Might as well pose for a picture while we're still waiting.

Finally got on board after a 20-minute wait!

Woo-hoo!!!!

Ah-ma went with him on his 3rd ride.

Snug like a bug in a rug.

resort-living @home

Determined to have the resort lifestyle in our turf,

we took advantage of this beautiful Saturday to R&R by the pool.

Of course photos of Hugh & Mummy had to be taken :)

And no R&R can be without nibbles and Mimosa!

We had to put up this sheet up to shield from the glaring late afternoon sun.

Our view was just so-so.

But all we wanted was to lounge lazily and watch a movie...

Ahhhhhh.... bliss!
