Scenic World

We're doing the whole Scenic World shebang!

First we take the cableway down.

Oooh.... 52 degrees steep!

Then we took a 10-minute walk along the walkway 

and saw the Three Sisters from below.

We also got to compare the old railway with...

.... the new one which we rode uphill.

Finally we took the skyway across to another mountain 

at 270 m above ground.

We looked through the bottom glass windows 

and got wobbly knees :)

Jenolan Caves - Orient Cave Tour

We drove about 1hr 22min from our resort to arrive here.

There were maybe 30 people in this tour.

The kids were in awe. 

Although I'd expected Hugh to enjoy the caves more, 

he was rather afraid of the dark, heights and steep steps.

Much happier outside :)

Daddy dance at Lilanfels

Blue Mountains Echo Point

After we'd checked into Lilanfels Resort,

we took a short walk to the Echo Point...

... where we could see the Three Sisters.

This is Hugh's second visit to the Blue Mountains.

He doesn't recall his first trip back in 2010 :)

However, he is having so much fun with Cupcake 

this time around that it should be etched into his memory.

Jamberoo

We left Sydney city (on the morning a man took 15

people hostage at a Lindt Cafe) for Jamberoo Action Park.

The kids were thrilled to find a playground so close to our room

at the Jamberoo Resort!

After our shower we headed to Kiama for dinner

and play at a nearby park.

Needless to say, they slept like babies afterwards.
