he loves his ball

This is a great item from Ikea. Soft toy ball that's easy for babies to grab onto. Needless to say Hugh loves it!

morning after

The meds did wonders. Other than dried up, scabby nostrils Hugh is looking and feeling well...but he still needs time to cheer up :)

boo-hoo!

The day after he turns 8 months, Hugh came down with flu. Poor fella had teary eyes and a runny nose. It was a very long night and no one got any sleep. The next morning his temperature went up to 38.3C.

He was brought to see Dr Brian at Australian Family Care and for the rest of the day he was whingy and slept no more than 2 hours. However, he had a good sleep from 9pm to 7.45am, waking only once for a feed at 4am. The following day saw him in better spirits and full of energy! Phew!
