"Big brother" to Scarlett

Today was Scarlett's first day at Pre-K

and her brother and sister have gone to Sydney with

their grandparents.

So Hugh took over the big brother role 

and walked her to her classroom.

1st Day Yr 5

Smooth first day ✔

Happy with new teacher ✔

Remembered water bottle ✔

Ready for 45 min piano lessons ✔

2nd Stay at Breakfree Anuuka Resort

We are back again after 5 years...

The room is the same...

So is the spa bathroom.

But this time he is here with a friend...

Plus he made another friend, Vienna.

What a find this was!

Food was yummy and service top notched!

Tambourine Rainforest Skywalk

The trail is only 1.5km

Cedar Creek Winery

Mum and Dad did some wine tasting...

and ended buying these.

We had lunch here.

He had Creme Brulee for lunch!

Glow Worms Tambourine Mountain

Took a 30-min tour to see these worms.

Frankly it was not spectacular...

too tiny!

North Kirra Beach

We were hoping to do some body-boarding but

discovered many Blue Bottles along the beach.

Hence the boys just played with sand.

Tropical Fruit Farm

We spent a fun arvo here touring the farm...

touching avocados hanging in the trees...

tasting a variety of fruit 

although we have eaten quite a number before...

pineapple, papaya, lychee, dragon fruit, wampi,

sour sop...

took a tram ride around the plantation...

took a boat ride around the lake...

saw some geese...

cracked (or trying to) some macadamia...

Relaxing 2nd Day in Tweed

The boys played some piano, has a few swims

and we had a nice BBQ dinner of Polish sausages.

This AirBnb home has a beautiful pool and 

a fantastic view!

The boys jumped in soon after they stepped into the house.
