Swimming Carnival 2015

He didn't defend his Noodle Race title this year...

... despite Mummy urging him on.

Didn't do too well at the Freestyle race either :(

However, he had lots of fun after the races when 

they had pool games!

Santa came early this year...

...and delivered Hugh's present on Godma Cheryl's birthday :)

Went straight into it after he came home from school!

Dioramas

One thing his school is good at is assign homework

for parents :)

Daddy helped Hugh with this diorama project.

He is to do an oral presentation about horses with the help of a diorama.

Hugh and his classmates (and Mummy)

have been working on this paper mache pig every Friday 

for the last month.

He did the painting by himself though.

Tooth extraction

What was supposed to be a routine clean turned into

a rather unpleasant experience for the poor fella :(

He's got 2 wobbly teeth which the dentist asked 

if he wanted them out and he said yes.

Then after the injection to the lower one, 

he was closed to tears so he decided against 

having both extracted.

Later at bedtime he told Mummy that he had

a horrible visit to the dentist.

Treetops adventure in videos

Ralph's Treetops Birthda Party

It rained the whole day and night before the party 

so the grounds were pretty muddy. 

Thankfully, it'd stopped raining 

when we were getting ready for the climb.

First of all, the harness has to be put on.

Then the helmet.

After that, all the kids waited patiently 

for everyone to be geared up.

Next, they listened attentively to the 

rules and instructions.

Finally, it was time for Course #1

Here he is arriving at the first platform.

Off to the next challenge of Course #1...

... and arriving at the second platform.

After that, a couple more challenges and the 

ziplining down to the main area.

Now, Course #2.

Mr Impatient complaining that Jasmine was too slow...

... but he wasn't that quick himself :)

This was a tricky, wobbly challenge at Course #3.

At Course #4 there was a challenge similar to rock climbing.

He had such a great time that he's asked to go back there again soon!

A sneak peek into his recital at Fireworks
