We boarded this train at Central Station.

Hugh got to sit at the driver's seat.

We were in Car B.

The seat is quite comfy.

Midway through, Santa came around...

... and gave him a candy cane.

At the Thirlmere Trainworks he got to climb onto train exhibits,

experience standing on a train track,

discover a hidden Thomas ...

....and do some colouring.

And on the way back to Central Station...

Santa's Village is already set up at Erina Fair

just 50 day's before Christmas!

Apparently he'll be here on 10 November for photo sessions.

It's official! 

He's attending pre-kindy at the Central Coast Adventist School next year.

These were bought from the school's uniform shop today.

finally puts himself to sleep

Tonight is the first time Mummy doesn't have to lie in bed with him and wait till he drifts off. He says all he requires is the fairy Nana gave him and tucks himself in! Another milestone for us!
