super hot day

It was an extremely warm day at our Chinese New Year party today that one by one our guests began to dip in the pool to cool off. At one point there were 10 of us - the most crowded the pool's ever been! And Hugh just loved having so many people in there with him.

kick kick

It's been so hot the past week that we go "kick kick" AKA swimming almost every evening to cool off. Don't know why but Daddy always places the boy on the kitchen island to put sun screen on him. happy as Larry!

Hugh plucked this Toy Story 3 Lego train set from one of the shelves in Kmart and walked around like someone was buying it for him.





Close to tears here when he was finally told he had to put it back.

1st day @ nursery

Hugh starts nursery at the ABC Woy Woy South today.

Getting ready...




Immediately attacked the puzzle blocks once he stepped into the centre.




Right at home at the outdoor play area.... and he didn't think twice about waving goodbye to Mummy and Daddy either.




He had just woken up from nap when we went to pick him up... he beamed when he saw us :)
