We were lucky this event was held during the weekend we'd planned on visiting the Blue Mountains.

At the Zig Zag railway, Thomas the Tank Engine pulled up to eagerly waiting kids and took them around the cliffs down to the bottom station.


Hugh getting comfortable in his seat on the train. He enjoyed the engine sounds and the ride.


Somehow he didn't like standing infront of Arthur.


Calmed down when carried by the fat controller - who wasn't really fat at all :)


Got to ride on a mini Thomas.


Had his face painted and got a new Thomas T-shirt.

The boy watched Despicable Me at the Greater Union cinemas in Tuggerah. Good thing the cinema was pretty empty as he wanted his own seat! And apologies for his loud exclamations to those few in attendance... yeah he gets excited.
