We were "forced" to get him his very own stroller as he wouldn't let go of the actual one and neither would he let us guide him when he pushes it. After he'd run into several people in Erina Fair, we decided to buy this (although pink wasn't the intended colour) from Target.

train ride to sydney

We took the train to Sydney to meet Aunty Jenny. Had lunch at Laksa House in QVB and walked to Darling Harbour where we saw many gulls.

After breakfast, Mummy was doing the dishes and Daddy made more coffee and suddenly we both realised that the house was too quiet! "Where's the boy?" We both asked.

So we looked into the living room... nope. We called out to him but no reply. We searched our bedroom but no sign of him. Starting to panic, we half ran into his room at the end of the hall and found this...


He tucked himself and was drinking his milk! Awwwwwwww.....

He digs into his old toy boxes and seems to be happy to see the familiar toys again.

His bedroom was set up today.

The boy's trampoline arrived today.

He was helping us unpack the contents from the box although he hadn't quite realised what it was yet.


Parts were placed on the ground.


The base frame was put together quite quickly.


Hugh tested the sturdiness...


...again and again.


The springs were painfully placed one by one by daddy.


Then the safety cover went over the springs.


And Georgi tested it for us.


Then our boxes from Dubai came and we had to account for them and unpack. The poles and enclosure of the trampoline would have to wait for the weekend as it was getting dark.

After the garlicky appetizer, Mummy brings out the fried noodles with beef and Chinese broccoli. He eats 2 out of 3 - noodles and the broccoli :)

The floors are freezing and he wouldn't wear socks nor shoes...except his gumboots. He even wanted to wear them to bed today!

Watched this at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre. Hugh didn't like it as mush as we thought he might. Infact he was trying to leave the performance. These Disney dancers didn't impress him... ... nor did Goofy, Mickey and Donald sitting on the pretend boat... ... even The Incredibles only managed to catch a small fraction of his attention :( Believe it or not the best part of the show was the fairy floss!

round and round

He loves watching dropping the coins and watching them they go round until they fall into the hole. We don't know how many he's dropped so far... just glad it's for a good cause - for the deaf and blind association.

Little Masterpiece took some shots of Hugh a couple of weeks ago at Westfield Kotara for $2 and told Mummy to collect a 4R photo today. Then the salesperson whipped out several 8R pieces and didn't really need to try hard to convince Mummy to part with $85 for this photo.
Infact Mummy, herself, needed to try hard to refrain from buying all of them. What's worse was hearing that they'll destroy the remainder. How wicked!

The weather's been bad lately and the poor fella's cooped up at home and couldn't play outside.
