It may not be apparent in this photo but Grandma was really sad to send us offat the airport. Tears flowed when we said Goodbye :(

Hugh was blessed by Father Paul Pang at the Novena Church today and while waiting for him, so many ladies came to fuss over the "oooooh...so cute" bub :)

Hugh has been introduced a few kinds of foods other than milk lately. So far, his response has been good and Daddy would called him Greedy Guts :) He's had apple juice, mandarin, tofu, durian and loves sucking on sliced apples....so much so he grabs onto Grandma's hands and refuses to let go!

a truly happy valentine's day

This is Mummy's happiest Valentine's Day...

She woke up to a smiling bub(ah, such a wonderful way to wake up in the morning!), walked to a coffee shop downstairs with bub to get breakfast, took an afternoon nap with bub, went to cousin Janice's apartment and got into the pool with a happily kicking bub (after he warmed up to the water), played mahjong and came home to a dozen roses. Hugh also got a Valentine's Day present from Grandma- a musical nursery rhyme book.

Hugh received a gift that's bigger than he but fortunately lighter.

Elangcovan came by to see Hugh with his second daughter Nadya. She was shy at first but by the time this photo was taken, she had already warmed up and was constantly touching Hugh's arms and legs and giving him hugs and kisses. When asked if she would like to be his girlfriend...she simply smiled :)

twinkle what?

We had lunch at the restaurant in Holiday Inn Atrium and there was 'live' band playing. The quartet came rouind to our table and asked if we had any song requests. Aunt Rose's friends requested for Elvis Presley's songs while Mummy asked for Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars for me but unfortunately they didn't know it :( How odd!

Terence played Hugh like a puppet at Vivo City shortly after Mummy had changed his diaper. Thank goodness the movements didn't make him poo again :)

Seems Hugh got his small feet from Mummy. Sure hope they grow to a decent male size later on!

Hugh "posed" for Alvan today but it wasn't easy for the photographer to capture perfect shots as this boy could not stay still for long!

Looking at these photos Mummy can't believe how much his looks have changed in the last 5 months...amazing!

Went to Steff & Toon's for makan and Hugh's voice was loudest of the 2 babies and a toddler there ....hehe!

Brought Hugh to Aunty Myung Duk's for a swim... or so we wanted but the water was too cold at 9.30am :( Hence a dip was all he had.

Hugh made an "accidental" rollover today with the help of gravity :) Then he did it again but the left arm got caught underneath. Is this counted?

Hugh is 6.85 kg and 64.5cm long on his 5th month birthday!

Charlotte drove us to Jenny Limowa's apartment. He was fussed over when we arrived and was probably overwhelmed by the many faces and the noisy environment of chatter and laughter that he suddenly started to cry real loud and wouldn't stop for the longest time.

Mummy tried all tactics to soothe and calm him; cradled him, walked around, sang to him, tried to feed him, removed his clothes.....nothing worked! She was soon running out of ideas. Some of the ladies there also tried to sing to him and brought toys out to amuse him but to no avail :(

He did paused a few times only to continue louder. The whole fiasco lasted almost 30 mins and finally he calmed down and Mummy cradled him to sleep. What an episode!
